Cannes is an editor and AI marketing assistant. This policy explains which data Cannes uses when you connect analytics and publishing services.
Data we process
Cannes processes account and device identifiers, marketing project information, and data you explicitly authorize Cannes to retrieve from connected services. For Google Analytics 4 this includes aggregate site metrics, channels, and landing pages; for Search Console it includes queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, and position.
Google access
Cannes requests read-only access to Google Analytics and Search Console. Cannes does not change Google settings, edit websites, or publish data on your behalf. Access is used only for the marketing project you select.
How data is used
Data is used to provide reports, performance analysis, and marketing-agent recommendations you request. A relevant subset may be sent to your selected AI provider only to perform a feature you started. We do not sell Google data, use it for advertising, or transfer it for unrelated purposes.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest by the server. Retrieved reports are stored in the corresponding project workspace. Access is limited to your Cannes account and connected devices. You can disconnect Google in Cannes settings and revoke access in your Google Account security settings.
Google API Services
Cannes’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Connection data is retained while the connection is active or needed by the selected project. After disconnection, Cannes stops new collection and revokes OAuth access where supported by Google. To request deletion of related data, email privacy@canneseditor.com.
